These Terms of Use govern your use of Sum 61, including the website, iOS application, Android application, gameplay, accounts, store, ads, memberships, coins, and related services at https://sum61.com.
Definitions
- Service means the Sum 61 website, iOS application, Android application, and related services.
- We, Us, and Our mean Sum 61.
- You means the person using the Service.
- Account means a registered Sum 61 user account.
- Virtual Items means digital coins, customizations, membership benefits, and other in-game digital items.
Acceptance
By accessing or using the Service, creating an Account, or making a purchase, You agree to these Terms and to Our Privacy Policy. If You do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
The Service is intended for a general audience. If You are under 13, You may only create an Account or use account-based features with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. If You are under the age of majority in Your jurisdiction, You must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service and agree to these Terms.
By creating an Account or using the Service, You represent that the age or parent/guardian statement You provide is accurate.
User Accounts
To access certain features, You may be required to create an Account.
- You agree to provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for activity under your Account.
- You may not sell, transfer, or share your Account in a way that harms the Service or other users.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, bots, scripts, exploits, or unauthorized automation
- Disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, payments, or data
- Harass, impersonate, threaten, or abuse other users
- Use offensive, deceptive, or infringing names or content
- Manipulate ads, rewarded ads, purchases, rankings, matchmaking, or game outcomes
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
Gameplay and Online Rooms
Sum 61 includes online rooms, ranked play, casual play, puzzles, leaderboards, bots, and social features such as friends or invitations. We may change matchmaking, rankings, rules, rewards, and game balance to keep the Service fair and functional.
Purchases, Memberships, and Billing
The Service may offer paid memberships, coins, customizations, and other digital items. Purchases on the website are processed through Stripe or another website payment provider. Purchases in the Android app are processed through Google Play Billing. Purchases in the iOS app are processed through Apple In-App Purchase unless a policy-permitted exception applies.
- Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through the provider that billed You.
- Website memberships are managed through the website billing provider.
- Android app memberships are managed through Google Play.
- iOS app memberships are managed through the App Store.
- Free trials, discounts, or offers may have additional terms shown at checkout.
- Prices, benefits, product availability, and billing providers may differ by platform, country, account state, and store rules.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or by the applicable payment provider or app store policy.
Use of the iOS app may also be subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
Virtual Items and Coins
Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, are not cash or stored value, and cannot be redeemed for money. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use Virtual Items within the Service. We may modify, rebalance, remove, or reset Virtual Items when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, game balance, or service operation.
Advertisements and Rewards
The Service may show ads. Website ads may be provided through Google AdSense. Android and iOS app ads may be provided through Google AdMob. Paid memberships may include ad-free benefits while active, subject to platform availability and technical limits. Android app ads may be personalized where permitted and where required consent has been obtained. In the iOS app build approved by App Review, ads are requested as limited or contextual ads rather than personalized ads.
Rewarded ads may grant coins only after an eligible ad is completed and verified. Daily caps, eligibility, ad availability, and reward values may change. Closing an ad early, failed ad verification, account restrictions, under-13 account status, suspected fraud, or technical failures may result in no reward.
Interstitial ads may appear at natural breaks, such as after a non-member chooses rematch. Advertising availability, format, personalization, and measurement may depend on your privacy choices, age or guardian statement, location, device settings, and applicable law.
Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your Account and associated account data from the Account tab on your Profile page at https://sum61.com/profile. Account deletion is permanent. We may retain limited records where needed for security, fraud prevention, payment/accounting compliance, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or proof that deletion was completed.
We attempt to cancel active memberships before completing account deletion. You are also responsible for checking the billing provider or app store that charged You, such as Stripe, Google Play, or Apple, to confirm the subscription is canceled.
User Feedback
If You provide feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or ideas, You grant Us the right to use them without restriction or compensation, and We are not obligated to implement or respond to them.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its game design, code, graphics, branding, original card designs, interface visuals, and original content, is owned by Sum 61 or its creator. You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission.

Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove content, reset rewards, or restrict purchases if We reasonably believe You violated these Terms, harmed the Service, abused ads or payments, created security risk, or broke applicable law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available in every region, platform, or device.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sum 61 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, service interruptions, or damages related to use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount You paid to the Service in the past 12 months, or 100 USD if no payments were made.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Dispute Resolution
You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting Us.
International Use
The Service may be accessed worldwide. You are responsible for complying with local laws. We may limit features, ads, purchases, or availability by region where required or appropriate.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means You accept the updated Terms.
